134 days my Xbox has been off for. Time to fire it up. :)
Day 9, under unit lighting fixed and wired up, new sockets fitted, worktop upstand on, fencing boards purchased and cut to length…
Day 7+8, sink, tap+hob in, pelmet+cornice on, handles on, doors adjusted and softclose bits on… fencing started - posts dug+cemented in.
Day 6, wee custom unit made, plinths on, FF doors linked up, extractor up and ducted out, flyover up.
I hate painting ceilings. I always get clarted.
I drink your milkshake.
Day 5, end panels on, worktops routed, bolted and fixed in place. Holes cut for sink + hob. FF wired up and fixed in place. Not long left.
Day 4, finished base units, wall units modified as needed and all fixed in place. Doors all initially hung too! No electrocutions today. :)
Day 3, plaster sanded & sealed. Most base units fixed in position. Radiator out. FF housing built. Electrocuted by the cooker ring twice. :(
Day 2 of kitchen-ing complete. All plasterboarding, taping and plastering done, most base units unpacked and put in place and levelled.
Day 1 of kitchen-ing complete. Old one completely out, plasterboard cut out, electrics sorted out, plumbling all cut back. Woo!
Kitchen ripped out as far as I can without plumbing work. Tiring work!
Looking forward to a nice bike run tomorrow. Last one for a week and a half probably. :(
As of Monday it’s a change of scenery for me - kitchen fitting. Should make a nice change from writing code.
